I love Elli, she is so welcoming. I’ve had her cut my hair twice now over the last year or so. My favorite thing is how the cuts grow out so perfect. Elli really knows what she’s doing & she will recommend things based on your hair specifically. She has the best products too that really work!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Ellie for the last couple of years in San Diego, and I’m honestly sad I’m moving to another state because finding someone even remotely this good is going to be a nightmare. Ever since I started seeing her, my hair grew longer, healthier, and actually behaved itself which proves something people seriously underestimate: who cuts your hair matters. A lot. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and it shows. Like, obscene-level experience you can tell the second she touches your hair that you’re in expert hands. She’s insanely knowledgeable, incredibly personable, and has this rare ability to make you feel comfortable while also giving you results that hit every single time. The location is great, booking is painless (she actually picks up the phone—no calling 12 times like a maniac), and the whole experience feels human, not corporate or rushed. Truly one of a kind.

I have been going to Elli for a couple of years now, and I honestly can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair! I have seen a huge improvement with my hair! She's so sweet, professional, and genuinely personable-it always feels like a catch-up with a friend. Her shop is spotless and has such a relaxing vibe, and she only uses the best products. Elli is very talented and knowledgable in her field. Every single time, I leave loving my cut and color-she just gets it. If you are looking for someone who consistently delivers amazing results and really cares about her clients, Elli is the one!

Elli went above and beyond for my hair service while I was visiting San Diego. I needed a last minute appointment so I reached out late Saturday and she was fast to reply and accommodated me early morning on a Sunday. The area is beautiful and parking was hard to find but Elli saved the day again by offering me a parking spot in the garage behind her salon. It was Art Walk Sunday so I wouldn’t have been able to find parking otherwise! The service itself was extremely efficient for time and she managed to squeeze in a much needed haircut as well as a gloss. I loved chatting with her and her energy is contagious! She is infectiously positive and had great product and restaurant recommendations. I left Elli’s Hair Studio feeling happy and satisfied with my gorgeous blowout. She is a gem! 11/10, highly recommend, and can’t wait to go back to her next year during my annual visit to San Diego!
